Always a reliable luxury stay
This was my third time staying with Spicers, this time at Spicers Sangoma Retreat. I've been to Spicers Vineyards Estate before too. What I really appreciate is the consistency in their luxury accommodation and service. Every time, the experience feels tailored and special. The wellness retreat at Sangoma was fantastic, just as high quality as the wine tasting tour I did at Vineyards. They really know how to make you feel pampered without being over the top. It's why I keep coming back when I need a proper break.
Lovely stay at Clovelly Estate
Just got back from Spicers Clovelly Estate. It was really nice, the room was super comfy and the grounds were beautiful. We did a nature walk and it was so peaceful. Everything felt easy, which is exactly what I wanted for a weekend getaway.
Good, but a few small things
We stayed at Spicers Peak Lodge for a few nights and generally had a great time. The gourmet dining experience was exceptional, really a highlight. Service was attentive. My only minor gripe was that the infinity pool access was a bit crowded during peak hours. Value was decent for what you get, but maybe a slight improvement there would make it perfect.
Amazing experience at Tamarind!
Oh my goodness, Spicers Tamarind Retreat was just incredible! We did a cooking class and it was so much fun. The cottage rental was stunning and so peaceful. I absolutely loved every minute there. The staff were wonderful and made everything perfect. I'm already planning my next trip back to try another one of their locations!
Worth it for the mid-week rate
